The Latvia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) delegation visited the UNIDO ITPO Shanghai promoting in-depth exchanges for Sinor Central European

On November 14, a 25-member delegation from the Latvia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), organized by the European Committee for Tourism and Investment Promotion (EUCPTID) and led by Natalija Juskova, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department,LCCI , visited the UNIDO ITPO Shanghai.

 

Ms. Zhao Xiaolei, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, welcomed the delegation. She provided a detailed introduction to UNIDO's global network and mission, as well as the important work carried out by the Shanghai ITPO in promoting investment and technology transfer, and fostering inclusive and sustainable industrial development.

 

Natalija Juskova, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs of LCCI , elaborated on the Chamber's development history, member network, and industrial strengths. She shared the current status and future strategies of Latvian companies expanding in China, expressing a strong willingness to deepen cooperation between China and Latvia.

 

Martin Yin, the Public representative of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in China and the Director of EUCPTID for the Asia-Pacific region, encouraged the attending Latvian entrepreneurs to invest in China. Mr. Ulrich Akos, Director of the China Trade Advisory Committee of the Young Enterpreneur Organization of European Union (JEUNE), shared his investment experience in China and an upcoming aerial restaurant project set to launch in Shanghai.

 

 

The LCCI delegation comprised members from various sectors including pharmaceuticals, security, manufacturing, design, beauty, and education. It included well-known institutions such as AIS Security, Viral Growth, and the University of Latvia, as well as numerous small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). UNIDO ITPO Shanghai will continue to serve as a bridge, actively promoting in-depth exchanges in transnational cooperation and technology investment between China and the Central and Eastern European region through the establishment of extensive partnerships.
