Since its official launch at the Hong Kong Station in January 2026, the 5th Campaign of Carbon‑Neutral Technology & Solutions—supported by 12 partner organizations—has successfully completed seven stations across six global cities (Hong Kong, Shanghai OIF, Budapest in Hungary, Vienna in Austria, Brussels in Belgium, and the UNIDO Day at CSITF). Featuring 5 overseas B2B sessions, 3 B2G project matchmaking meetings, and 9 corporate roadshows, the series has drawn over 1,100 participants, serving as a dynamic international platform for Chinese enterprises to showcase their technologies and solutions.

In July 2026, with the support of Donghao Lansheng Group and the Water and Air Purification Special Committee of CIAPST, we launched our Bangkok station at the Intelligent Manufacturing Expo Southeast Asia 2026 (IME 2026) and the 2026 China-Thailand Technology and Equipment Exchange & Matchmaking Conference. As China and Thailand deepen cooperation in manufacturing, technology, and sustainable industrial development, pragmatic exchanges among solution providers, industry stakeholders, and development partners will continue to play a pivotal role in accelerating innovation and advancing shared development goals.

During the event, Ms. Xiaolei ZHAO, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, accompanied Dr. Fukuya IINO, Chief Representative of the UNIDO Sub‑regional Office in Thailand, to visit the "WATER FOR THAI" booth hosted by the Water and Air Purification Special Committee. They held in‑depth exchanges with representatives of Rinland regarding innovative water treatment technologies, such as heavy metal removal. The solutions brought by Chinese enterprises are expected to promote cleaner industrial production, stronger environmental protection, and more sustainable industrial development in the region. This exchange further strengthened UNIDO's path toward enhancing Sino‑Thai industrial cooperation through technology promotion, innovation, and sustainable development.

Ms. Xiaolei ZHAO, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, delivered a presentation titled "From Initiative to Action: Promoting Just Industrialization in the Era of Carbon Neutral" at the 2026 China-Thailand Technology and Equipment Exchange & Matchmaking Conference. She highlighted UNIDO's ongoing practices in driving technology exchange, investment promotion, and strategic partnerships, while emphatically promoting the 5th Campaign of Carbon-Neutral Technology & Solutions under its theme, "Sharing the Blue: From Local Pier to Global Frontier." She called on enterprises to participate and jointly scale up green technology solutions worldwide.
