ITPO Shanghai Successfully Launches UNIDO Day 2019

On April 19, 2019, during the 7th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF), UNIDO and China Council for the Pomotion of International Trade (CCPIT) jointly hosted the 2019 UNIDO Day. 2019 UNIDO Day was themed with "technology, investment and innovation- UNIDO global investment promotion network and high quality development in the Yangtze River Delta". It has made full use of UNIDO global network and high quality project resources to directly promote Yangtze River Delta economic system through the high-end industrial development dialogue, UNIDO research first launching in China and International project roadshows and matchmakings.

With the theme of innovation, IP protection and technology promotion, China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) aims to build an authoritative platform for exhibiting, exchanging and serving the strategy of innovation upgrading by integrating scientific and innovative achievements at home and abroad.

Through a 30-people roundtable dialogue, 2019 UNIDO Day gathered important representatives from governments, enterprises and academia in the Yangtze River Delta（YRD）region to conduct in-depth discussions on issues such as industrial and urban symbiosis, the fourth industrial revolution, etc., providing suggestions for industrial transformation and upgrading in YRD.
