GIIC 2020 Promotes Industrial Internet Upgrading and Introduces the Green Recovery Concept

From September 17 to 20, the 2nd Global Industrial Internet Conference 2020 and International Industrial Internet Exposition of China, co-organized by China Federation of Industrial Economics, Chinese Institute of Electronics, China Machinery Industry Federation, China Iron and Steel Association, China Industry News, and Tongxiang Municipal People’s Government, was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province.

Zhao Xiaolei, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai delivered the remark at the opening ceremony and pointed out that the current international environment is complex and changeable, and the COVID-19 is still spreading around the world, accelerating the reconstruction of the global value chain. The fourth industrial revolution has accelerated the transformation of the global digital economy. The Industrial Internet has played a huge role in helping companies cope with the impact of the COVID-19. In order to accelerate the formation of a new development pattern, the Industrial Internet will further play an important role as industrial support, making new contribution to achieving inclusive, green and innovative economic recovery in the post-epidemic era, and injecting new power into China's industrial upgrading and transformation.
