创新设计赋能可持续发展 | 2023联合国工发组织主题日活动在上交会成功举办
6月16日上午，以“创新设计赋能可持续发展”为主题的2023联合国工业发展组织主题日（UNIDO Day 2023）在第九届中国（上海）国际技术进出口交易会（上交会）上成功举办。
本次活动由联合国工业发展组织和上海交通大学联合主办，联合国工业发展组织上海投资与技术促进办公室（UNIDO上海ITPO）、上海交通大学设计学院和上海市外商投资协会共同承办。
联合国工业发展组织副总干事Fatou Haidara，中国商务部原部长陈德铭专门发来视频向UNIDO DAY 2023的胜利召开表示祝贺。上海市商务委员会副主任周岚、上海交通大学副校长奚立峰、中国国际经济技术交流中心副主任张翼等海内外贵宾出席活动并致开幕辞。

作为展会重要的国际组织支持单位，联合国工发组织（UNIDO）连续第八届在上交会上举办UNIDO DAY主题日活动，为全球科技创新、技术贸易投资和跨境合作搭建了重要的国际交流平台。
产业技术创新与国际合作WiiTs平台注册项目授牌仪式
活动上举行了2023年上半年“产业技术创新与国际合作WiiTs平台”的注册项目授牌仪式。以“ReNewal”为主题的FourC Challenge 2023，通过设计将科技转化为节约资源、营造可持续社区空间和促进社区健康运转的有效工具，以打破技术鸿沟和学科壁垒，推动人们福祉的普惠化进程。大会揭晓了12组获奖作品，并为20位获奖者颁发了证书和奖金。软银中国、上汽集团、京东方集团与上海交通大学设计学院就历年FourC 24小时设计挑战赛的优秀设计成果举行了合作意向签约。

On the morning of June 16, the UNIDO Day 2023 with the theme of "Innovative Design Empowers Sustainable Development" was successfully held at the 9th China (Shanghai) International Technology Import and Export Fair (CSIFT).
The event was jointly organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization(UNIDO) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and co-organized by UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, the School of Design of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association.
In the opening speech session, Fatou Haidara, Deputy Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and Chen Deming, former Minister of Commerce of China, sent special video congratulatory messages. Zhou Lan, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Xi Lifeng, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhang Yi, Deputy Director General of China Center for International Economic and Technical Exchanges, Ministry of Commerce and other dignitaries from China and abroad attended the event and delivered speeches.
As an important international organization supporting CSITF, UNIDO held the UNIDO Day for the eighth consecutive year at the fair, which has built an important international exchange platform for global science and technology innovation, technology trade and investment and cross-border cooperation.
At the event, a ceremony was held to award registered projects for the first half of 2023 on the WiiTs Platform for Industrial Technology Innovation and International Cooperation. The FourC Challenge 2023, themed "ReNewal," aims to break the technological divide and disciplinary barriers by designing effective tools for transforming technology into resource-saving, sustainable community spaces and healthy community functioning to promote the well-being of people for all. The conference unveiled 12 groups of winning entries and awarded certificates and prizes to 20 winners. Softbank China, SAIC Group, BOE Group and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Design held a signing of intention to cooperate on the outstanding design results of previous years' FourC 24-hour Design Challenge.
Ruan Xing, Dean of School of Design, Shanghai Jiaotong University; Kun-Pyo Lee, Dean of School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Ren He, Technical Director and Cheif Information Officer of the Marketing Committee of COMAC; Shao Jingfeng, Chief Designer at SAUC Group's Innovation and Research Development Institute; Hou Zhi, General Manager of BOE; and Dai Pengfei, General Manager of Lifecycle Service at Rockwell Automation (China) gave wonderful speeches on the topics of design innovation and industry sustainability.
Zhao Xiaolei, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, concluded her appreciation by saying, "Today's star-studded UNIDO Day has shown us the efforts of Chinese companies' innovative technology solutions in addressing global climate change and achieving the zero carbon goal, as well as the dynamic power of innovative design among young people around the world. Moreover, we see the connections between market, capital, innovation and design. We hope that the community will continue to support the work of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai as they do today, so that we can climb to the top together and win together!"
