UNIDO ITPO Shanghai Attended the Shanghai North Bund Investment Promotion and Key Project Signing Ceremony

Since settling in North Bund, Hongkou, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Shanghai Investment and Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO Shanghai ITPO) has consistently bolstered the global influence of the Hongkou district. The office supports Hongkou in aligning with international standards and enhancing resource allocation to facilitate high-standard opening up, thereby fostering regional economic growth. Through its efforts, the office has attracted the headquarters of multinational corporations to North Bund, contributing to the realization of Hongkou's vision as a 'world reception hall'.

On the afternoon of November 6th, the Shanghai North Bund Investment Promotion and Key Project Signing Ceremony took place at the North Bund Pavilion during the China International Import Expo. Li Qian, the Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee, attended the event, and Lv Ming, the Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee and District Mayor, delivered a welcoming speech. Other attendees included Xiang Xi, member of the Party Committee and Chief Business Manager of the Shanghai Branch of the Bank of China, and Zhao Xiaolei, Director of UNIDO Shanghai Investment and Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO Shanghai ITPO). The event was hosted by Chen Shuai, Deputy District Mayor.

This event aims to share opportunities with global investors and is part of the broader objective to transform Hongkou into a vital showcase of Chinese modernization and a model zone of high-standard opening up. UNIDO Shanghai ITPO was invited to witness the signing of key projects and the unveiling of the 'North Bund International Legal Service Port."
