On February 5, the 2023 Annual Appreciation Meeting of MS Energy was held in the Garden Auditorium of Shanghai Tower. The conference invited more than 200 representatives from the government, associations, enterprises and media to witness the brilliant achievements of MS Energy in the past year and explore a new chapter of future cooperation together. Visiting the global headquarter of Westwell Technologies in Hong Kong

Zhao Xiaolei visited the Hong Kong headquarters of Westwell Technologies

On the afternoon of February 27, ZHAO Xiaolei, Head of ITPO Shanghai, visited the global headquarter of Westwell Technologies in Hong Kong and exchanged views with the founder and chairman of the board, TAN Limin. Westwell Technologies became one of the first batch members of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Alliance of UNIDO in 2020 and joined WiiTs in 2022. The WiiTs program has provided Westwell Technologies with a larger international platform and opportunities to go global. During the meeting, representatives of Westwell Technologies expressed gratitude for the assistance and support from ITPO Shanghai over the years, hoping to further establish themselves in Hong Kong, expand overseas markets, and enhance their global visibility. They expressed a desire to continue working with ITPO Shanghai to advance towards the goal of becoming a multinational corporation with global influence.

Discussion with the Freshippo team

Founded in 2015, Freshippo is an innovator and leader in China‘s new retail industry. It is Alibaba Group’s proprietary retail chain for groceries and fresh goods with its retail platform driven by data and technology in China. The two sides are engaged in discussion around “new quality productive forces", committed to exploring how developing countries can use digital tools to explore green supply chains and sustainable development, and cooperate on "from field to table” to help Freshippo, as the "chain master”, drive the transformation of upstream supply chains. Both sides will actively seek overseas suppliers as long-lasting business partners for global procurement, invest and establish more overseas agriculture logistic bases and promote the development of sustainable agriculture.

Agricultural Economics and Sustainable Supply Chains are key focuses for UNIDO. To save scarce resources, we need to improve sustainable supply chain operations and build a circular economy. In order to promote the development of sustainable agriculture, ZHAO Xiaolei, Head of ITPO Shanghai , led a team to visit the Freshippo headquarter on January 12, and visited the Freshippo Production Base on January 25.
