联合国工业发展组织工业与制造业AI全球联盟成立@AIM Global 总干事贺词

作为专注于产业发展的联合国专门机构，联合国工业发展组织（UNIDO）秉承包容与可持续产业发展的理念，尤其注重数字化产业的发展，提倡以创新驱动进步。

2023年7月6日，在中国上海举行的2023世界人工智能大会（WAIC 2023）开幕式上，UNIDO发布了成立全球工业和制造业人工智能联盟（以下简称“AIM-Global联盟”），同时还启动了“联合国工业发展组织国际工业和制造业人工智能发展卓越中心“。联盟成立后的首个全球人工智能工业论坛在#WAIC2023的国际AI论坛上成功举办。

对于联盟的成立，UNIDO总干事格尔德·穆勒（Gerd Müller）先生发来贺词，全文如下：

尊敬的各位嘉宾，女士们、先生们，

我在联合国工业发展组织总部所在地奥地利维也纳向各位问好！

（UNIDO全球工业和制造业人工智能联盟）发布活动将来自全球的政府领导专家及其他利益相关者们聚集到一起，共同探讨人工智能的未来发展。

人工智能在所有产业中促进生产力、效率和可持续转型提升的过程是有着巨大的潜力的，然而我们必须要保证人工智能发展在伦理层面也是合法的、合理的，同时，我们也有责任让所有人能享受到人工智能带来的好处并以此促进全人类的福祉。

各位嘉宾，联合国工业发展组织工业与制造业AI全球联盟（AIM-Global）有一个清晰的目标，暨发展和利用以提升产业竞争力和实现可持续发展为目标的人工智能技术。为了确保不让任何一个人在这场人工智能革命中掉队，AIM-Global联盟认为弥合国家间和产业间存在的数字鸿沟是非常重要的。

AIM-Global联盟在全球层面将为经济增长和社会进步创造机会。这一目标的实现要求专注必要技能的发展，并支持强有力的数据保护措施。人工智能技术需要全面的监管框架。因此，AIM-Global联盟将会解决道德层面和法律层面的问题，倡导部署负责任、公开透明的人工智能技术。通过投入教育和培训，个人和组织能够利用人工智能促进创新和增长，并遵守道德标准。

As a specialized organization of the United Nations focused on industrial development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) adheres to the concept of inclusive and sustainable industrial development, with a particular focus on the development of digital industries and advocating innovation-driven progress.

On July 6, 2023, at the opening ceremony of the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2023) held in Shanghai, China, UNIDO announced the establishment of the Global Alliance on Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Manufacturing (AIM-Global Alliance), and launched the "International Center of Excellence for Development of AI for Industry and Manufacturing". The first global AI industrial forum after the establishment of the Alliance was successfully held at the International AI Forum in WAIC 2023.

The launch of AIM-Global Alliance and International Center of Excellence for Development of AI for Industry and Manufacturing brings together leaders, experts, and stakeholders from around the globe to shape the future of artificial intelligence.

Let us acknowledge that Artificial Intelligence holds immense potential to drive transformative advancements in productivity, efficiency, and sustainability across industries. However, we must ensure that these advancements are ethically sound as well. It is also our responsibility to see that the benefits of AI are accessible to ALL, and contribute to the well-being of all.

Excellencies, the Global Alliance on Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Manufacturing (AIM-Global) has a clear objective: We will help develop and deploy AI technologies that enhance industrial competitiveness and sustainable development. The Alliance recognizes the importance of bridging the digital divide between nations and industries, ensuring that no one is left behind in the AI revolution.

We can create opportunities for economic growth and social progress on a global scale. To achieve our goals, we must focus on developing the necessary skills, supporting robust data protection measures. AI technology needs a comprehensive regulatory framework. The Global Alliance will thus address ethical and legal considerations. It will advocate a responsible and transparent deployment of AI technologies.
