ITPO Shanghai supports the first Hong Kong GreenTech Summit

The first Hong Kong GreenTech Summit received extensive response and enthusiastic participation from all sectors, achieving complete success. The summit received over 1000 applications for attendance, with over 20,000 online participants. The event garnered widespread media attention, with enthusiastic coverage from over 230 well-known domestic and international media outlets. The Investment and Technology Promotion Office in Shanghai (hereinafter referred to as “ITPO Shanghai”) has been committed to building communication platforms for enterprises, promoting technology exchange, and the application of new technologies.

On February 26th, in response to the vision of promoting Hong Kong as an "International Green Technology and Financial Center", the first Hong Kong GreenTech Summit was jointly organized by the Green Development Institute, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and the Greater Bay Area Green Finance Alliance, and it achieved a complete success. The forum received strong support from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, marking the opening of "Hong Kong Green Week". As a collaborative organization, UNIDO ITPO Shanghai was invited to the summit, providing strong support for the success of the event.

After the successful conclusion of the Hong Kong GreenTech Summit, the following morning, ZHAO Xiaolei, Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, as a member of the GreenTech Summit delegation, visited the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. During the visit, discussions were held between Ms. Zhao and the park officials, envisioning the prospects of cooperation with the science and technology park. They also discussed how UNIDO ITPO Shanghai and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park could work together to jointly promote the development of green technology.
