UNIDO ITPO Shanghai was invited to attend the 25th China International Industry Fair
On the morning of September 23rd, the 25th China International Industry Fair, with the theme of "New Quality in Industry, Boundless Manufacturing", inaugurated at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Li Lecheng, Party Secretary and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Mayor of Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhao Xiaolei, the Head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and participated in the launch of the "New Intelligence Momemtum, Ushering in the Future" 2025 Forbes China Novel Intelligence Economy Selection.
Li Lecheng pointed out in his speech that since the 14th Five-Year Plan, under the leadership of President Xi and CPC, China has achieved historic accomplishments in promoting new industrialization. Industry is the main battlefield and main front for developing new quality productive forces. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will firmly focus on the key task of achieving new industrialization, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone, enhance the overall efficiency of the industrial science and technology innovation system, intensify efforts to rejuvenate and upgrade traditional industries, cultivate and expand emerging and future industries, and comprehensively build a mutually beneficial and win-win industrial ecosystem. We should constantly consolidate the material and technological foundation for Chinese-style modernization.
Gong Zheng pointed out in his speech that the China International Industry Fair has become the world's largest comprehensive industrial brand exhibition and an important platform for promoting international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. We look forward to the guests attending the conference enhancing practical cooperation, seizing business opportunities and working together to promote global industrial innovation and development.
At the opening ceremony, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with the National Development and Reform Commission, jointly released the "Guidelines for High-Quality Development of Industrial Parks"."Shanghai Pilot Demonstration Platform"was launched. The opening ceremony also presented one CIIF Special Award and ten CIIF Awards. During the opening ceremony, a keynote forum on new industrialization was held simultaneously. Academician Zhu Meifang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Romedo Toledo of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Chairman Qiu Wensheng of Huaqin Technology Co., LTD., and Chairman Dong Mingzhu of Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. delivered speeches respectively.
